CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is aligned with NIOS Board and National Education Policy 2020. Students are prepared to sit for NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) Board exam. Students meet academic milestones equivalent to the formal education system. 

Up to Grade 10th

Grade 10th Onwards

The Jeypore School offers a vast range of vocational subjects which can be mastered at Pre- University level over the period of two years.

Photography, Media, Arts, Music, Sports, Printing, Cookery, Bakery, Confectionary and Hospitality.

BEYOND CURRICULUM

Extracurricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered a part of a well-rounded education.

 We at The Jeypore School design extra curricular activities with the aim to increase students’ sense of engagement or attachment to their school, and thereby decrease the likelihood of school failure and dropping out.

NIOS BOARD

NIOS offers a wide range of subjects in comparison to any other formal schools. The learners are free to choose subject combinations as per their needs and goals. The learners study at their own pace from specially designed materials and have the freedom to appear in examinations as per their preparation. There is a provision of credit accumulation. The registration of the learners is valid for a period of 5 years. The Secondary/ Sr. Secondary certificates obtained from NIOS have the same recognition as certificates issued by other boards.
