21st Century Skill Based Education:

4C's of Education

Through the four C's of education (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration), students can develop competency and acquire 21st-century skills. We aim to achieve this through a series of measures including better and positive interaction amongst the students and the teacher, learning in a more positive environment, evaluation and re-evaluation of the skills as well as not limiting knowledge to just the four walls of the classroom but beyond that as well. Focused on multi-sensory and experiential learning, the teacher focuses on developing human intelligence based on the child's unique abilities that are characterized into eight modalities: visual-spatial, verbal-linguistic, musical-rhythmic, logical-mathematical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic and bodily.

NIOS Board

The Jeypore School follows the NIOS Board (National Institute of Open Schooling). A wide range of vocational, life-enrichment and community-oriented courses at the secondary and senior high school levels are offered by NIOS. -It promises a bright future to the children whilst also enabling them to lead healthier lives and address their specific special needs. – The NIOS collaborates with the Commonwealth of Learning and UNESCO. – It offers vocational and life enrichment courses apart from the levels. – NIOS has given some of the most dynamic personas to the nation from MC Mary Kom world-renowned Olympic boxer to Dipika Rebecca Pallikal, Leema Babu and many more internationally acclaimed athletes, artists etc.

We aim to achieve this through a series of measures including better and positive interaction amongst the students and the teacher, learning in a more positive environment, evaluation and re-evaluation of the skills as well as not limiting knowledge to just the four walls of the classroom but beyond that as well.
